February Clip Art Freebie

feb freebie

You guys…

My life has been flipped upside down in the last couple of weeks. I know you don’t know me… really. But I so appreciate you visiting my blog. I may not be able to post as regularly for a time and let me tell you why.

My little girl, who is 6, was diagnosed with a brain tumor two weeks ago. She had been having awful headaches and was just getting sicker by the day. The tumor was found in an MRI and she was rushed off to have it removed. We have since found out that we will be spending the coming weeks and months going through cancer treatments to help make sure the tumor never comes back.

I hope to keep designing and sharing with you all. I love doing it! If you would like to read a little more about my daughter’s ordeal and even how you can help, click HERE.

Now… on to why you are actually here!

  1. We were in a very scary similar situation. Cancer runs in my family really bad. Mostly female cancers. I have had cancer 3 different times. The last time was Breast cancer 2 years ago. My Niece is dying of Ovarian cancer. She is 27. And was first diagnosed at age 20. She has been through several rounds of chemo and several remissions. We carry a genetic gene for Tuberus Sclerosis which makes us prone to all types of cancers. My daughter has had bad migraines for a year and a half now. She kept sayin it felt like something was in her head. After MRI’s were done they came to conclusion no tumors. Thank you Jesus. But she has migraines every day all day the meds only help her to function. I had to take her out of normal school and now she does virtual school online. Which also helped with the migraines by decreasing noise and stress levels. Any way I just want you to know I will be praying for your daughter. And know you are not alone in facing this. Please ask for help from your family as friends as you go through the next months of her treatments. Also I wanted to tell you that not all but most states offer free public school online. It is called Connections Academy. in South Carolina it is called South Carolina Connections Academy. And the few states that do not offer it for free your children can still go but it is at a tuition. The reason I am telling you about the school. Is at some point with all the chemo and stuff your daughter may not be able to attend regular school and this might be a option for your family. As I was freaking out with my daughters schooling and her missing so much and getting behind. I will share your Go fund me page over on my Facebook page. Love and hugs to you and your family as you go through this. If you ever need to talk please do not hesitate to contact me via email or Facebook. Sometimes it just helps to know you are not alone.

  2. I am not very good with words when things really get to me, so I find myself a little lost and unsure of what to say. I don’t know you, and you don’t know me, like you said. But I’m a mother too. Sending lots of positive thoughts and love to you and yours!

  3. My thoughts and prayers are with you, your daughter and family. I pray for strength in the coming months and healing. Over the last few weeks I have been participating with my community and people across the country to bring awareness to childhood cancers especially the brain DIPG in particular in memory of another special six year old Chad Carr who lost his battle this past Dec. Please continue sharing your story and letting us know how you and your daughter are doing. I am so touched by your story and you will be in my prayers.

  4. As a mama, I can’t begin to imagine what you’re going through right now. Please know that my heart hurts for your sweet one and the trial she and your family are facing. May God hold you in the palm of His hand and fill you with His peace.

  5. As a mom and grandmother, I can’t help but hurt for your little one.. I will be adding her to our prayers and will send pixie dust and good thoughts to you and your family

  6. Katie I pray for your little angel and your family , I hope she is doing well . I wish there was more I could do but with 3 kids money is tight for us . Just hang in there and this too shall pass! Best wishes from Louisiana ❤️😇🙏🏻
